On Saturday I was trying to sail across the wind but my board kept veering off on a broad reach. It was like my board was telling me to go for a gybe ! It was only happening on starboard tack. What was going on?

I was at Bewl on a 99 litre board and 4.2 sail. It was blowing 25+ knots and was very choppy for inland water.

    Hi Abigail,

Were your harness lines at the same position on both sides of the boom? I've had similar problems on one tack only, had a good look at my boom and one set were a good 5 cm further forward than the other set

    Nebbian,

I'm not sure. I didn't spend as much time adjusting them as I should have - I was using a different sail last time and was in a rush to get on the water. I'll have a look though, that might explain it.
