    you are right, although backies are way harder they are alot less intrusive and when landed hold a huge amount of respect from you mates, we all know someone that cant gybe but can forward but i bet no-one knows anyone who can land 90% back loops and cant gybe!!

    Ah, the 'gentleman's loop'.

    When ramps permit, I am at the landing (sometimes dry) but not quite sailing away stage. I will await your take on the later steps with some interest.

    Did you see the one I landed about 20ft away from you (when you fluffed a gybe or something) at cross shore LA last year? No.

    I still maintain that you wont land one until you change your takeoff, rotation is far too horizontal and you are landing with too much rotational speed and wind in the sail.

    I am prepared to put my money where my mouth is on this, so if you get some coaching from Ant and this is not part of the feedback you get, I will pay for it <puts wallet away as it wont be needed>
