I like the sea breeze UK beaches idea. There are quite a few around but unless you sail them a lot, what actually makes them work isn't well really known. You can be getting skunked a few miles down the road from a beach where its 5m weather and not even know it...

A specialist light(er)wind toys feature would also be good. Listing various options, the costs both new and 2nd hand, what you can expect to get out of them, and who are they suited to. The list could be something like:

    big freeride kit
    big slalom kit
    formula kit
    freestyle board + wavesail
    windSUP
    longboard

Round-up of views on best in-van comforts / gizmos / clever ideas in preparation for summer road trips? (sundry camping ideas also allowed for the vanless).

A readers vans article could be good - maybe concentrating on one or two different approaches aimed specifically at windsurfing - kit storage, changing facilities etc.

also, more community stuff - interview a few bunches of local sailors - conditions where they sail, why they sail, funny stories, amusing characters etcetc

a year in the life of a PWA pro

where are they now - interviews with a few of the big names from yesteryear who still sail - how does it compare?

ideas that didn't make it - the wind weapon, z booms, asymmetric boards, tinkler tails, chest harnesses, slot fins etc

i think most of the windsurfing mag articles are more wavey as well as the tests (80l boards, 85l boards, 90l boards, twin fin 90l boards, twin fin 95l boards ) usually and it made a bit of a fresh read, perhaps 2 versions of the mag, one to read, the other to look at the nice waves

+1 ... especially if this is a flat water focus.
