Actually I agree with you on the Chinook Race lines, I only have one boom with them on, the others all have more rigid lines that don't swing away and then back at you as you move the rig away and down. I used that boom on Saturday and noticed that vs more stiff lines that I came close to re-hooking in and that the gybes in bumpier water were the worst for making softer lines move back into re hooking range.

I've swapped the Chinooks for North adjustables that are somewhat of a half way house between the stiff non adjustables and the Chinooks. I also have a couple of sets of NP adjustables and they are very similar.

IMO swap the lines, its a quick fix and a lot cheaper than buying a new harness.
