    Citroen dispatch?
    http://www.parkers.co.uk/vans/review...dispatch/2007/

I've got a 2007 Combi L1H1, and like it so far. Supposed to be pretty reliable and a lot cheaper than VWs / Merc Vito, which would be the other recommendation I suppose.

Edit, just read the above post - perhaps the Dispatch bucks the trend as it has a good reputation for reliability as far as I can see (is the same vehicle as the Peugeot Expert / Toyota Proace / Fiat something or other).

This is turning out to be interesting. I hadnt thought of the Dispatch must google the dimensions for the load area as i need about 2.85m legth to get our longest SUP in. Maybe the Nissan version of the Vivaro might prove to be a relaible vehicle. It is surprising the value for VW's even the ones that are just panel vans which I am looking for command high value as hundreds of people are looking to convert them to campers. The Hyundai is not old enough yet to have reduced in price sufficiently for this purpose.

It's badge engineering. The Nissan, Renault & Vauxhall are all the same body & drivetrain, so all as bad as each other.

You Dispatch owners what is the load legth on the long wheel base version? Seem to be able to get details for the new version not the older model.
From Radialheads comments sounds like I am better off to keep looking for VW if all the other options are a lot worse.
Just come across a 1999 T4 Synchro with the 2.5TDi engine in it. 120k on the clock and the bodywork from the photos looks good, might pay it a visit.
