'Backwards Sunday' (easterly). Who's heading where?

So the forecast is for E / NE. Always a tricky direction for Shinglyland.

    Top tips?

From a bit of a search I have turned up these previous threads:

    Northeasterlyish.
    Easterly.

OK, a little premature question I agree. Different [fore****] models vary and of course may yet change. [Edit: All references to weather forecasts deleted, for fear of confusion with the One True Weather Thread]. It looks as though there's a reasonable chance of [unauthorised weather speculation duly redacted]. I'd at least like to know the best plan if that looks likely as Sunday approaches. Or for any future easterlies.

Anyone else thinking Bigbury? I've never sailed there in an easterly, but it's supposed to work well.

    Desperate?

'Bandstands' at Weymouth? Any swell running up the channel, if there is any, will be coming into Weymouth Beach head on and NE is cross-shore from the left. Its lowish tide before 2pm which I believe is best there as its a shngle beach & shoredump at high tide.

Was thinking of Llangennith with my SUP and gear to float and ride if the more optimistic forecast comes together. BBC think there will be sod all wind but there's 1-2 ft of long period swell forecast. Some on the Barry Windsurfers forum seemed quite optimistic for Newton. May be if you like slalom and big sails, but I'm not convinced.
