    Backloop success -v- over rotation

In my view I have pulled off my first backloop followed swiftly with a second in the same session. OK some might say whilst I got all the way round I didn't managed to sail off so it doesn't count. In the past I got part way round and finished up on my back, however this time at the usual spot when things come to an end I got this sudden and violent spin and finishing with a slam down on my side. My side is now bruised and my ear felt funny for a day! I think I was over rotating. Any tips on getting the right amount of rotation?

Back hand waaay back on the boom, stops the sail yanking you round the last bit and over rotating.
