    Introducing... Maria Cat 3

    Round 1: High tide, waves reaching up and destroying the beach... winds lower but 20-30-40 knots.

    Round 2: Low tide, waves stay farther out but winds reach 60 knots+ and was a a bit scary!

    Its good there is a reef out there to take the brunt of the waves.

    Just checked the path of the latest one and it looks like its missed you just about. That must be a relief.

    The reef is taking a serious beating. Can't imagine what the coast would be without it!!!
    We are getting showers after showers, flooding will be a problem, gusts are nuts, just got a 54-knot one, yet the wind dies to 3-4 knots. And this is in side-onshore winds.

    Yes the eye won't hit us but the hurricane is slow, is dumping lots of water...
