UK weather from 30th October 2017

Time for a new thread surely.
Been a bit quiet this week down South, but a low pressure for the weekend looks like offering some potential, albeit NW winds.

Im considering Saunton Sands this weekend.
looks to be around 20 mph with a swell running, so starboard tack jumping and maybe even some waves to ride.
    Any better options?

Looks like north westerly and high tide at midday on Sunday (south coast). Do we presume West Wittering is now free to sail?

West Wittering should be open but depends if anyone is there to apply rules (which seem to be variable).
I think it will be flat though.

Looks like a bit of a chance of some waves & x shore over here tomorrow morning. Not worth getting too excited about though.

    Tuesday.
It's gusting over 20mph here but bolt onshore and the tide is already rising, so not worth bothering.

I hear there are some out blasting at Worthing.
    Now back in the UK.

Going to be a weird one this weekend I think!
Met office and NOAA forecasts quite far apart for Saturday especially.
Strong westerly winds in the morning, esp west of the Isle of Wight, but looking like it could cut off quite suddenly around lunchtime, so take care if out.
Might give some good surfing conditions in the afternoon though.

    Sunday....bloody sunday!
Westerly facing beaches could be really fun, but it could just be cold and messy.
    Its a 50 / 50 forecast for the West Country / Wales.

    Any thoughts?

Yes, wet and westerly on Saturday morning, then cold but sunny on Sunday.

I'm not optimistic of scoring on either day to be honest.

But there is a small swell on the sea here today.
    Now back in the UK.
