Shame they didn't restart a little earlier really. Bigsalty is showing 50kts and 11m swell for Brandon Bay tomorrow.

    https://bigsalty.com/en/weather/forecast/16/

This morning's Shipping Forecast was a bit of an epic, and from the Met Office warning for Shannon:

Winds will also reach violent storm force 11 between 20 and 50 miles of the centre in the southern quadrant from 021600UTC until 030000UTC.

WindSoutheast, veering west 7 to severe gale 9, occasionally storm 10, perhaps violent storm 11 later.

Sea state Very rough or high, becoming very high later, occasionally phenomenal later.

Friday 5th in cornwall is pretty close to good enough:

9m @17s!! Maybe not quite windy enough at 35-45knts. Although IMO that would make the windsurfing even better!

I love the concept of the storm chase. I wonder if the current storm system has caught them a bit cold. It must be epic in parts of Ireland and Scotland today and maybe the North Sea tomorrow or Friday.

This has been a bit quiet.

They have another month to go with their window.
    Now back in the UK.
